Our House is named after Sir David Robinson. Sir David Robinson was a British businessman and philanthropist. He donated £18 million to the University of Cambridge to create a new college in his name. Robinson College, Cambridge, the latest in the university, was officially opened in 1981.

Robinson also donated £3 million to launch the Rosie Hospital, named after his mother, which is now a part of Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.

This represents our house because we believe we, Robinson house, can leave a mark on Chesterton to show how we can achieve success in the college so that we can realise our potential.
